Американское приложение UAV Forecast для платформы Android, которое показывает погоду и безопасные зоны для полетов дронов, заблокировало возможность бесплатного доступа пользователям из России, убедился корреспондент РБК. После скачивания приложение запрашивает местоположение и для местных пользователей выдает сообщение, что бесплатная версия недоступна «из-за вторжения России на Украину в нарушение международного права». При этом им остается доступна годовая подписка на услуги сервиса за 1790 руб. Представитель разработчика сообщил РБК, что удалил приложения из Google Play и App Store в России в рамках «своих собственных санкций», но продолжит предоставлять услуги тем пользователям, с кем был заключен контракт.

В Google Play у UAV Forecast более 500 тыс. скачиваний и 6 тыс. отзывов с оценкой приложения 3,7 по пятибалльной шкале. Число пользователей приложения в России неизвестно. По словам гендиректора ассоциации AeroNext Глеба Бабинцева, это приложение предназначается для анализа метеообстановки и бесполетных зон. «Вместе с тем, насколько мне известно, это приложение не получало информацию из официальных, принятых в авиации источников навигационной и метеорологической информации, а потому использовалось ограниченно и в основном любителями. Его отключение никаких проблем не создает, тем более что в России в высокой степени готовности к внедрению есть собственные более функциональные платформы», — уверяет Бабинцев. Директор по телекоммуникационным проектам «Дигинависа» Максим Мысев подтвердил, что «на рынке существует достаточное количество как отечественных, так и иных зарубежных аналогов подобных сервисов».

Первый заместитель гендиректора FlyDrone Александр Каниовский отметил, что сервисом UAV Forecast пользуются некоторые владельцы беспилотников, но это использование «носит скорее вид личных предпочтений». По его словам, этот сервис не является официальным источником информации метеоданных для России: в случае каких-то ошибок в прогнозах или недоступности самих сервисов предъявить претензии попросту некому.

Однако речь шла не о добровольных действиях разработчиков, а о последствиях санкций. Этим риском власти объясняли необходимость перевода на российское программное обеспечение или Open Source (софт с открытым кодом, распространяется на условиях свободного лицензионного договора, когда пользователь получает право использовать программу в любых не запрещенных законом целях, имеет доступ к ее исходному коду для изучения или переработки) госорганов, госкомпаний, а также владельцев критической информационной инфраструктуры, к которой относятся сети связи и информационные системы финансовых, энергетических, телекоммуникационных и ряда других компаний.
