5 фактов о создании клипа Pharrell, 21 Savage и Tyler, the Creator «Cash In Cash Out»
“Cash In Cash Out” продолжает возвращение автора песни “Happy” к агрессивному хип-хопу.
2. TYLER, THE CREATOR

Pharrell, Cash In Cash Out: inside the meaning of the lyrics
Cash In Cash Out is the new song released by Pharrell Williams and it belongs to the recent series of collaboration with Tyler, The Creator. The song has also the contribution of 21 Savage and it was released with an astonishing videoclip made with CGI animation that renders the effect of zoetrope animation. Pharrell made only the beat of the song, with trap/dubstep echoes, and left the vocal scene to the two rappers. And of course people wanted to read the complete lyrics and understand the meaning of the song. In this article we will analize the main lines.
Below you can find the official video of the song.

Cash In Cash Out: the meaning of the lyrics
As it often happens, hip hop is all about bragging and showing off. In this song the two rappers, Tyler The Creator and 21 Savage, described in detail their fancy life style, made of luxury items and expensive comforts, a symbol of their success, that works also as a confirmation of their talent. Cash In Cash Out is a long series of lines that describe the expensive life of hip hop stars.
The symbols of their wealth are numerous: Louis Vuitton shirts (abbreviated into Louis V), Chanel, jewels (like the yellow one mentioned by Tyler The Creator in the second verse), Richard Mille, and a long list of expensive cars like Rolls Royce (Double R), Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, Bentley and so on.
The rappers are not trying to trigger jealousy on their peers. It’s not about getting rich to prove a point. They look like just describing how that world look like if you are at the top level. Even though 21 Savage admits that being rich changes you somehow, they are trying to do good things with that money.
Money turned me to a a**holе
I ain’t gon’ lie, I was used to being poor
Mama got a Benz, she smiled
Then she got a house, she cried
Pharrell made this so it’s a million dollar beat
Being rich allows you to live life the way you want and enjoy the things you like. In Tyler’s part, he explaines how he turned off a $2.5 million because he didn’t like the stage:
I got offered two-point-five for the last show
I declined ’cause the stage didn’t match my ethos
Besides money, which starting from the song title is the real protagonist of the verses, also sex is a symbol of their success, and it’s mentioned in a couple of images, sometimes explicit. But after all, the real meaning of Cash In Cash Out is this: Pharrell, Tyler and 21 Savage are rich, talented artists that made it. The world works this way and they want everybody to know how it is. Good or bad, is a judgement left to the listener.

What are the limits for cash-in and cash out?
For Fully Verified users, there is a hard limit of Php 100,000 for both cash-in and cash-out. Unfortunately, once you experience this limit, there is no choice but to wait for the next month to reset limits.
If you have multiple GCash accounts via different mobile numbers, you share this limit between all accounts as well.
Unlocking Higher Cash-in Limits
You can unlock higher limits by linking your BPI/UnionBank or your Payoneer account/s and utilizing either GSave or GInvest with a Php 100 deposit or investment. As an alternative, you can also subscribe to GCash Pro 99 every month.
Once you do so, you will be able to unlock:
- A bigger wallet limit – Php 500,000 maximum
- Higher incoming limits – you will be able to receive up to Php 500,000 in your wallet and daily cash-ins have no limitations
- Higher outgoing limits – withdrawals will have no limitations per month, and you can withdraw up to Php 10,000 per day
You will be receiving an SMS informing you of the increased limits.
Take note that once you’ve unlinked all of your BPI/UnionBank/Payoneer accounts, the limits will revert back to what it was before.
What can I do if I cashed into a wrong number?
If the recipient is not a GCash user, then it would be easier to return the money.
However, if the recipient is an existing GCash user, then it becomes more difficult because if the user already withdrew or used the amount, generally there is no way to get it back.
It would be better to send a support ticket with the following information:
- GCash Mobile Number
- Correct Recipient Number
- Wrong Recipient Number
- Amount
- Date and Time of Transaction
- Transaction ID
- Picture of Receipt (if applicable)
This is similar to Send Money. It is better to double-check the recipient before cashing into their account.
What do I do if I don’t receive any money in the app after cashing in?
For cash-in, confirm the cash-in details as the sender may have sent it to a different recipient. This is especially true of remittances from Paypal, Western Union, or MoneyGram. If it’s not via remittance, then it would be better to file a ticket.
Are there fees for cashing in?
For 7-11 cash-ins, there is a 1% fee of the total cash-in amount. For example, if you cash in Php 1000, the fee will be Php 10, and the total amount of Php 990 would be credited or added to your balance. This fee always comes first as it is a 7-11 collected fee.
GCash cash-in for partner outlets is free for the first Php 8000 per month. When the amount goes over the Php 8000 limit, it will incur a 2% fee. This limit refreshes every first day of the month.
If you are cashing in 7-11, and you’ve exceeded the Php 8000 limit, the 1% fee goes first (7-11 fee), then the 2% goes after (GCash fee).
Once you are near the limit, you will be receiving an SMS and a notification in the app informing you of the charge once you go past the limit.

Please take note that this is only for manual cash-ins — remittances, online cash-in, and bank cash-ins are not included.
If you want to know how to circumvent this fee, you can refer to my fees page to see alternative solutions.
Is there a fee using a debit card to cash-in?
Currently, debit card cash-ins are disabled until further notice.
Where can I cash-in or cash out?
You can use the “View nearby” features in the app itself to check nearby stores/ATMs.
How do I cash-out in the GCash app?
In the app, you need to click on Show More, and scroll down to see the Cash-out button. There are two main options for cashing out — it’s either through Over-the-Counter or via ATM (GCash Mastercard).
Cash-out button
Over-the-counter
You can accomplish the Order Online form to have your ATM card delivered if needed
If you want a free cash-out option, you can also transfer your funds to your bank via Bank Transfer and then use your bank’s ATM to withdraw the amount.
How to cash out via Over-the-Counter channel
All of the options mentioned above need you to go to the actual store since you will need to fill out forms and receive your cash.
How to cash out via ATM Withdrawal
You will first need to have a GCash Mastercard linked to your account. You can use any ATM to withdraw your money.
You can get your GCash Mastercard via ordering it online, picking it up from Robinson’s Supermarket, or buying it from convenience stores (ex., 7-11, Ministop, All Day, etc).
What do I do if I don’t receive any money after cashing out via ATM?
I recommend that you always take a screenshot for transactions with big amounts — be it cash-in or cash-out.
For ATM non-dispense issues, you will need to file a ticket or email su*****@gc***.com with this information:
- Details of your concern
- Your name
- Your mobile number
- Date and time of transaction
- Amount
- Bank/ATM
- Location

Cash In, Cash Out, and Cash Flow?
How to Make the Right Decision When it is Time to Move!
M ost homeowners at least ponder the rent versus sell decision when it comes time to move. After living in your home for six months or sixteen years, it is critical to analyze both options and understand the pros, cons, and risks associated with each.
Face it, buying the home you live in was an emotional experience. Whether it was winning a bidding war, taking a risk in an up or down market, or buying your significant other their dream home, emotion tends to run high when it comes to purchasing your primary residence. Insert seamless plug here for agent representation during the buying process vice going it alone.
On top of making an emotional decision, you also took on a liability when you signed on the dotted line. You were buying a liability that cost you money every month, not a cash-flowing asset.
Now, a difficult choice is on the table. Do you cash in and walk away with some decent coin, or do you cash-out refinance, rent the property, and start producing cash flow? Unlike when you purchased your home, this should not be an emotional decision. It’s time to think like an investor.
Let’s separate the people faced with this decision into three categories. First, the “never sell” category. Second, the “always sell” category. Third? You guessed it! The “I can’t decide” category.
Never Sell
The never sell category has already made up their mind to cash flow until the cows come home. They are either beginning their road to financial freedom through real estate or continuing their journey. Typically, they are avid Bigger Pockets Podcast8 fans who list “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kyosaki as their favorite book. They made their decision when they purchased the property that someday it would be a rental.
Always Sell
The always sell category has already made up their minds, only this time to take the money and run. This category purchased a home banking on appreciation or breaking even when it came time to sell. Usually, this category is low risk, and many have experienced or at least read horror stories of the unpleasant life of a landlord. Savvy investors are also in this category but instead would rather cash flow in the stock market or other investments than in the real estate market.
Can’t Decide
The third “can’t decide” category is this article’s target audience, and this seems like a good time for my disclaimer. I am not a financial advisor, and the intent of this article is not to provide such. I am a Real Estate Broker and investor providing you with things to consider when making the rent versus sell decision.
Reason to Sell
Why should you sell your property? I can think of a dozen reasons, but let’s keep it simple and only address one. In most markets, whether you purchased your home six months or sixteen years ago, you are going to walk away with a large sum of money. For most, this is an amount your account has never seen before when that wire hits your account. However, depending on how long you’ve owned the property, it might not be as large as you think when April 15th comes around and the tax collector knocks on your door. Please consult an accountant to understand the tax implications of selling your home so you can make an informed decision based on accurate information. This number is critical when deciding to rent versus sell, and we will dive into that later.
If you can walk away with a considerable chunk of change, then why would you ever consider renting your property instead? There are two reasons, cash out and cash flow.
Reasons to Rent
Cashing-out refers to your ability to refinance your property, walk away with a tax-free check, and have your tenant cover the cost of capital. It also takes some, if not all, of your financial risk off the table. Like Mr. Wonderful from Shark Tank, you need to consider your dollar bills, soldiers. Your soldiers are at risk anytime they are out of your immediate control. In this case, they are being held captive as equity in your home, and the only way you can rescue them is via a cash-out refinance. Don’t you want to recover your soldiers and put them to work somewhere else? They want to work for you, not sit idly by.
Cash flow is the money you make after your tenant covers your expenses. Positive cash flow is considered income, but there are incredible tax benefits to owning rental real estate. Please consult your accountant for more information. I would also recommend reading the book “Loopholes of Real Estate” by Garret Sutton, Esq. or reading forums on sites such as Bigger Pockets to better understand depreciation, capital improvements, income, and expenses.
Comparison
Now that you understand the basics, how do you compare the two options and make a decision? First, you need to estimate the “after-tax” number from the proceeds of your sale. Next, you need to assess the equity in your property and the opportunity for a cash-out refinance. Finally, you must analyze your income and expenses to determine your cash flow and calculate your cash on cash return. Cash on cash return is how you can objectively make your best rent versus sell decision.
Estimating your after-tax number from the proceeds is a must, but you also need to determine how you will invest and what return you anticipate earning on your profits. Are you buying a new Tesla instead of investing? Great. Have at it. You earned it. But remember, life’s about choices. Enjoy your Tesla, but don’t try to compare a liability to an asset. It just doesn’t work. The cash on cash return comparison requires two income-producing investments.
After determining your after-tax number, estimated return, ability to cash-out refinance, and estimated monthly cash flow, you can calculate and compare the cash on cash return for both options and help inform your decision.
Return from Sale — “Cash In”
Let’s say your after-tax number on the sale of your home is $200,000, and you conservatively estimate your return to be 6% or $12,000 per year. The cash on cash return is simply 6%. Easy enough. Also, it is essential to note that measuring cash on cash return is on a pre-tax basis.
