How to locate the fault part by the error code of the miner?

2. Input the IP range to which the miner belongs and click the "Scan" icon.

If the miner does have a problem, but the batch tool fails to report an error code, enter the miner log backstage to find the error code. The method is as follows:

3. Check the miner failure according to the error code and confirm the fault location.

1. The miner shall be powered on again to see whether it becomes normal each time you perform one resolution step.

2. The replaced part shall be reinstalled on the original miner once again after replacing the part but with the default unsettled.

① Whether the fan is usually working, and whether the rotation direction of the two fans is the same

② Whether the temperature of the air inlet of the fan is too high and move the miner to the lower position of the shelf

Notes: If the problem occurs massively, the abnormal miner temperature shall be taken into top priority (i.e. local fan failure).

Unable to connect to the mining pool

① Check whether the pool is configured correctly

② Check whether the network port of the miner is tightly connected

③ Exchange network cables with normal

④ Replacing the control board

① Check whether the pool address is configured correctly

② Check whether the operator's network is interrupted

③ Check the local network setting (such as the setting of DNS,DHCP,ports and other settings)

① Check the power supply and cable connection of the hash board, and then plug it in again

Notes: The problem may be caused by setting up the miners and removing them off the shelf violently. Please consult the after-sales personnel before returning the faulty hash boards which are put together into one or several miners. Failure to do so many result in damage to the miner or delay in repairs.

The data cable connection sequence is incorrect

① Power off and turn on the miner after cooling for 10 minutes

42 — SETPLL_PLANB_FAIL (low frequency on chip)

43 — VOLT_DIFF_FAIL (failure, overvoltage on chip)

51 — SPI_HighSpeed (chip overvoltage) — drive in low mode

52 — CONF_PARA1 (in connected mode — changes pool)

53 — CONF_PARA2 (use this — a hash is underrated on a board)

57 — PSU_BAD_POWER (b/p insufficient power)

In the last days, we were focused on adding more ASIC support and expanding our ASIC Hub software which already worked with Antminers flawlessly. The next manufacturer we selected was Innosilicon and in this tutorial, we will show you how to set up mining on Innosilicon ASICs. First, you will see how can you set up Innosilicon monitoring for one ASIC and later how to bulk install it on your ASIC farm.

We currently offer support for the following Innosilicon models:

for Blake (14r) mining; for Blake (2b) mining; for Equihash mining.

Before you start

Before you start, you will have to register a new account on minerstat and add a new worker with type ASIC and system Innosilicon .

You will also need to know your ASIC’s IP and secure shell (SSH) username and password, which are not the same as the username and password for the web login. Default SSH username/password for Innosilicon machines is usually one of the following options:

root/innot1t2
root/t1t2t3a5
root/blacksheepwall

ASIC Hub setup

To set up the ASIC Hub you will need to have a secure shell (SSH) access to your ASIC. Like mentioned above, the SSH access is not the same as web access and also doesn’t use the same default username/password . To establish SSH access you will need special software that allows it — one such free software for Windows is PuTTY.

Download PuTTY and run it.
Enter your ASIC’s IP address, leave the port on 22, and click Open .
Enter your SSH username.
Enter your SSH password.
If your SSH username and password are not correct, you will somehow need to find what are the correct credentials for your Innosilicon ASIC. If none of the above-mentioned combinations work, try Googling your Innosilicon’s type along with “SSH login” (for example “Innosilicon S11 SSH login”). Also, don’t forget that you need to use the same SSH username/password for the worker you have added at minerstat.
When you are successfully logged in through the SSH, you need to enter the following command to install ASIC Hub on your ASIC.

ACCESS_KEY needs to be replaced with your minerstat’s access key. You can find it by hovering your mouse over your avatar in the top right corner on your minerstat dashboard.

WORKER_NAME needs to be replaced with your worker’s name.

Please make sure to double check everything as the access key and worker’s name are both case-sensitive.

When you press Enter the script for loading ASIC Hub to your ASIC will be run and after it has successfully finished you will see the output DONE . Within a few minutes, you should see your ASIC online, the configuration will be loaded from the ASIC to the minerstat dashboard and your worker will be successfully mining. If this is not the case, we suggest you check your firmware and make sure that you are using official firmware on your ASIC. After you have upgraded the firmware, you will need to repeat the procedure.

Bulk ASIC Hub setup

If you own multiple Innosilicon, you can use a command that will install ASIC hub on all of your ASICs. You will need a computer with Linux (the procedure will also work on a rig that uses msOS).

Open the computer you will use to install the ASIC Hub. The command to run the bulk install of ASIC Hub:

You will be asked to enter your access key and location/group — both are case sensitive so type in exact values. For location/group either enter asic if you want to include all of your ASICs or enter the name of the group that you put your ASIC workers into in the previous step.

The rest of the process is automatic and you should soon see your ASICs online on your minerstat dashboard.
